    PCS Applications Specialist

    Job Summary

    The PCS Applications Specialist delivers expert clinical training, demonstrations, workflow optimization, and post-sales support across Alpha Specialties (Subsidiary of Alpha Pharmacy) Patient Care Solutions portfolio. 

    The specialist supports clinicians, nurses, anaesthetists, neonatologists, cardiologists, and biomedical/IT teams to achieve optimal use of medical systems, ensuring clinical excellence and high customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver comprehensive training for products in the following sub-modalities
      • Patient Monitoring
      • Anaesthesia
      • Maternal–Infant Care (MIC)
      • Diagnostic Cardiology
      • Critical and Emergency Care.
    • Conduct simulations for OR, ICU, NICU, labour ward, ER, and telemetry workflow.
    • Deliver post-installation onboarding and adoption support to ensure optimal use of products.
    • Maintain current knowledge on Alpha Specialties PCS software updates, clinical protocols, and new product releases.

    Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Anaesthesia Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Physiology, Pharmacy, or related clinical field.

    Experience

    • 2–6 years of clinical experience in one or more of the following:
      • ICU/ER/Theatre patient monitoring
      • Anaesthesia delivery and OR workflow
      • NICU/Labour Ward (maternal & infant care)
      • Cardiology clinics
    • Prior applications specialist experience (GE or other OEM) is an advantage.

    Competencies

    • Strong clinical understanding of monitoring, anaesthesia, and neonatal care workflows.
    • Excellent training, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Critical thinking and ability to solve clinical workflow problems.
    • Strong customer relationship and follow-up discipline.
    • Ability to travel frequently (50–70%).
    • Good MS Office and digital workflow proficiency.
