Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative and experienced Pastry Chef to lead pastry, bread, dessert, and confectionery production for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the hotel's pastry and dessert programme.
• Develop and produce cakes, pastries, breads, desserts, and confectionery.
• Create attractive and innovative dessert offerings.
• Maintain consistent recipes, portion sizes, taste, and presentation.
• Manage pastry production schedules.
• Supervise and train Pastry Commis staff.
• Monitor pastry ingredients and control wastage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Support restaurant, banquet, events, and in-suite dining requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years' experience in pastry production.
• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or senior pastry professional.
• Strong knowledge of baking, pastry, desserts, breads, and confectionery.
• Creativity and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Culinary/pastry certification is an advantage.
