Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role based in Lagos for a Paralegal Officer.
• The Paralegal Officer will assist in managing legal documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support in legal research and drafting. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, assisting with corporate governance, and maintaining proper documentation.
• The role will also involve liaising with internal teams and external legal entities to address legal matters effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in legal drafting, legal research, and contract review
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate legal documentation
• Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• A degree in Law or a related field, with paralegal certification being an advantage
• Familiarity with Nigerian corporate and commercial law is a strong benefit
