About this opportunity

• We are seeking a Packet Core & Cloud Infrastructure Expert to design, deploy, and operate telecom packet core systems on virtualized and cloud-native infrastructures.
• You will bridge telecom core network expertise with cloud platform operations, ensuring resilient, scalable, and high-performing environments for 4G and 5G services.

What you will do

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure supporting packet core systems
• Deploy and support virtualized and cloud-native network functions on OpenStack and Kubernetes
• Oversee infrastructure lifecycle: installation, upgrades, patching, and scaling
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization
• Lead troubleshooting across network, compute, storage, and virtualization layers
• Support integration of core network nodes
• Drive automation through DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code
• Monitor systems using industry standard tools
• Ensure security, hardening, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with vendors, radio access network, transport, and IT teams
• Manage incidents, root cause analysis, and escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• 6+ years in telecom core networks and cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency with OpenStack and/or Kubernetes.

Preferred:

• Cloud or container orchestration certifications
• Ericsson telco cloud platform experience
• 5G deployment exposure
• Large-scale production environment experience.
