    Job Overview

    • Our client is seeking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmologist to join their team in Asaba.
    • The successful candidate will provide professional eye care services, diagnose and treat eye-related conditions, and support patients in maintaining optimal vision and ocular health.
    • This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career ophthalmologist eager to grow in a supportive clinical environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect abnormalities.
    • Diagnose and treat common eye diseases and injuries.
    • Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and non-surgical treatments where necessary.
    • Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
    • Educate patients on proper eye care, preventive measures, and treatment plans.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
    • Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology practices and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized institution.
    • Residency training or specialization in Ophthalmology
    • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
    • Willingness to reside in or relocate to Asaba, Delta State.
