Operator, Packing Machines at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Packing Machine Operator to join our production team in Sagamu.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating powder and oil sachet filling machines, particularly vertical form fill seal (VFFS) machines like Pakona.
• You will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaging machines to ensure smooth production flow and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sachet filling machines for both oil and powder products.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters based on production requirements.
• Ensure packaging quality and consistency meet company standards.
• Perform minor repairs and coordinate with the maintenance team for major issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area.
• Keep records of machine performance and downtime.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company operating procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Trade Test I, II, III in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience with packaging machines such as VFFS, Pakona, and similar systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Salary
N220,000 (Gross) monthly.
