Electra is seeking an Operations Team Lead to oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone who can manage teams, optimize processes, ensure compliance, and keep operations running efficiently across freight, clearance, haulage, and warehousing. You will be a key point of coordination, driving performance, and ensuring service delivery meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end logistics operations across air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, haulage, and warehousing.
Supervise and coordinate operations staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to performance standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, service delivery, and cost management.
Monitor shipment life cycles and ensure timely execution from origin to final delivery.
Establish and enforce operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
Review operational reports and KPIs to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Resolve escalated operational issues and ensure minimal disruption to service.
Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer service teams to align operations with business goals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a high-performing operations unit.
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in logistics/supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
