Our Client, a key player in the Finance Industry, is looking to hire an Operations Officer that will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence in coverage area through routine supervision, clients’ engagement, real-time incident reporting and response.

DEPARTMENT Operations

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Report to: Head, Operations
Supervises: Field Operatives 

 STRATEGIC TASKS

• Clients’ engagements and security/safety needs assessment
• Security risk assessment
• Provide Leadership to the Guard force

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide supervision to operatives 
• Interfacing with clients to ascertain security needs
• Ensuring discipline amongst guard force
• Routine beat patrols
• Incident Investigation
• Incident report writing
• Law enforcement agencies liaison
• Onsite training of Guards
• Ensuring clients satisfaction and retention

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)

• Clients’ satisfaction, contract retention and business referral through existing contracts
• Rate of Guards Turnover
• Number of breaches, sanctions and restitution for coverage area
• Loss prevention efforts and interventions 
• Performance evaluation by clients

SKILL & COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

Core Skills

• In-depth understanding of the organization’s business
• Excellent guards management skills
• Good understanding of security operations
• Adequate training and guards recruitment abilities.

Client relationship skills 

• Industry knowledge
• Excellent communication & presentation skills 
• Basic computer skills
• Report writing skills 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
First degree in a relevant field

Minimum Experience

• 3 – 5 year relevant experience in Security Operations 
• Professional Membership in related field is an added advantage
