    Operations Manager

    Objective

    • The Operations Manager’s objective is to ensure the seamless running of the operations of each business unit on the premises.
    • This position requires planning, budgeting, executing and maintenance of the hotel’s operations, profitably.
    • Alongside this, the OPM is expected to ensure high standards of production, workforce productivity, product quality, and customer service standards.

    Job Description
    Administrative Task:

    • Provide reports to management regarding sales results and productivity
    • Create and enforce restaurant and hotel policies, targets, and KPIs.
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
    • Weekly reports on staff performance, and hoteloperations.
    • Create a monthly work plan.

    Leadership Responsibilities:

    • Manage all hotel operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
    • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
    • Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste.
    • Control and manage requisitions for the hotel.
    • Ensure that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
    • Plan the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
    • Take stock of ingredients and equipment, and place orders to replenish stock.
    • Enforce safety and sanitation standards in the hotel.
    • Develop standard operating systems for each department.
    • Weekly work schedule for all staff members
    • Keep up to date with industry trends

    Goal-Setting Responsibilities:

    • Establish sales targets and KPI’s
    • Recommend avenues to improve sales.

    Training & Development:

    • Oversee and manage hotel team by training and appraising talented personnel.
    • Develop training and development programs.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • B.Sc. in any field
    • At least 3 years in similar role
    • High accountability and integrity level
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, required.
    • Excellent analytical and information-seeking skills, with good decision-making skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
