Act as a middle man between the Company and Partners
Develop daily delivery plan utilizing equipment, manpower, and other resources to ensure effective and efficient operations and that work assignments are completed properly
Oversee receiving and shipping operations on daily basis.
Supervise all activities of drivers responsible for efficient loading/ unloading of trailers along with productive pick-up and delivery of freight at customer locations.
Provide freight updates to the Managing Director on regular basis.
Handle misdirected shipments and seal discrepancies in a timely fashion
Follow up on invoicing and backload issues with the Brewery Accounts department
Schedule regular equipment inspection to maintain it in good working condition.
Communicate equipment repair and maintenance requests to Manager.
Establish and enforce safety rules and regulations.
Conduct performance reviews and focus on development and career planning.
Ensure that team follows company policies and standards.
Communicate company safety program, trains, and enforces safety rules and compliance with all government regulations.
Administer safety programs which encourage a safe work environment and focus on prevention of accidents and injuries.
Ensure compliance with government, company, and local labor regulations, policies, and procedures.
