The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ikate, Lekki, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across smart home and solar projects. This role coordinates scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow between sales, technical, installation, and support teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
The Operations Manager monitors service delivery, manages vendors and inventory, and implements processes to improve efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Daily tasks include tracking KPIs, preparing operational reports, resolving escalated customer or project issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The role also involves supporting hiring and training of operations staff, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with leadership on operational planning and execution.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in operations management, project coordination, or similar roles, preferably in technology, renewable energy, or construction-related environments.
Strong skills in process improvement, workflow optimization, and implementation of standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
Proficiency with basic business and productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project management or CRM software) and comfort working with technology-driven products.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects or teams simultaneously.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and handle customer and vendor interactions professionally.
Proven people-management skills, including team supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret operational data and KPIs to make informed decisions.
Knowledge or strong interest in smart home technologies, solar systems, or related technical fields is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
