As Bolt continues to expand its ride-hailing business, we are in search of a dynamic Operations Manager.
This role is at the heart of our strategy, tasked with taking ownership of our business in designated cities.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for hiring, developing, and promoting talented individuals to foster a high-performing team.
Moreover, this individual will drive operational excellence, constantly challenging the status quo by introducing innovative and simplified approaches to enhance our services.
Your daily adventures will include:
Own, manage, and drive the expansion of the Bolt Ride Hailing business in assigned cities, with responsibility for its Profit and Loss (P&L)
Build and implement growth strategies for the business.
Generate insights through analysis, develop advanced analytical models, and establish reporting systems for both city and country-level operations.
Oversee programs and projects focused on business growth and process enhancements, aiming to deliver outstanding service to users and drivers.
Formulate and execute strategies to improve the value proposition for drivers and riders, increase the supply base, and enhance performance and retention.
Engage in Business Development to identify new revenue opportunities, forge partnerships, and negotiate and structure contracts, including collaborations with driver and vehicle fleets.
Act as Bolt's representative in dealings with local authorities, under the direction of the Country Manager.
Represent the Country Team in collaboration with other departments to launch and implement initiatives that foster growth and efficiency.
Work independently and proactively with your team to guarantee an optimal experience for drivers and fleet partners, supporting them from acquisition to activation.
Lead and develop a team of Operations Specialists to ensure the successful implementation of all projects, programs, and activities.
Advise and closely collaborate with HQ teams such as Product, Legal or Marketing to develop and execute key initiatives that drive growth and efficiency
About you:
You have 5+ years of experience in an analytical, consulting, or managerial role.
You possess a data-driven analytical mindset and skills, with advanced knowledge in Excel as a requirement.
You have experience leading a team and a passion for developing people.
You have a proven track record in building and developing businesses.
You preferably have experience in P&L management.
You ideally have experience managing new product launches or market entry processes.
You are a hustler who does not give up after facing 20 obstacles a day.
You are not afraid of operational tasks, willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done, understand that no task is beneath you.
You have excellent communication skills in english.
You must have outstanding negotiation and communication skills.
