Position Summary
PRIDE is seeking a highly organized, ethical, and systems-oriented Operations & Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen the organization’s operational systems, internal controls, and compliance frameworks. The role ensures that PRIDE’s administrative, procurement, logistics, HR, and compliance processes meet donor, statutory, and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions across all projects and offices.
- Strengthen and standardize SOPs for procurement, logistics, asset management, and fleet management.
- Ensure efficient use of organizational resources and value for money.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure full compliance with donor regulations, organizational policies, and Nigerian statutory requirements.
- Lead internal compliance checks, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
- Support audit processes and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Procurement & Logistics Oversight
- Supervise transparent and competitive procurement processes.
- Ensure proper documentation, vendor management, and contract compliance.
- Oversee asset tracking, inventory control, and logistics planning.
HR & Administration Support
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, staff documentation, and performance systems.
- Support onboarding, contract management, and staff records compliance.
Policy Development & Systems Strengthening
- Review, update, and enforce organizational policies and SOPs.
- Train staff on compliance, operations procedures, and ethical standards.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate operational records and compliance documentation.
- Provide periodic operations and compliance reports to management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations, compliance, or administration within an NGO/INGO setting.
- Strong knowledge of donor compliance requirements and Nigerian regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in procurement, logistics, and internal control systems.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation systems.
