Job Summary 

• As a Web Developer Instructor at DCH Academy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our students, developing course materials, and providing support to ensure their success.
• You will teach foundational and advanced web development concepts, mentor students through hands-on projects, and help them build a strong portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging web development lessons for in-person classes.
• Create and update course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and assignments.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students, helping them overcome challenges.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate the latest technologies and best practices into the curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one back-end language (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby).
• Experience with popular web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
