Officer in Charge, Emergency Response at Halogen Group

About the job

• The Officer Incharge, Emergency Response coordinates the Emergency Response operations and service delivery, coordinating response and reaction to intrusion and combating security breach within Secured Mobility & Journey Management operations. The Jobholder manages the emergency response teams, assigning teams to clients and locations, tasks and beats, including liaising with Government Security Forces on response and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Emergency response operations efficiently, safeguarding lives and property
• React promptly and correctly in emergency situations
• Respond to alarms promptly and give combat directions to Commanders
• Deter, detect, and respond to threats to designated personnel using training (skills) and tools such as: threat analysis, personnel security operations, responsive communications, and integrated team support
• Ensure training of Commanders for specialist security, technical and professional trainings
• Work on the front-line during emergency situations, take charge and make sure that the right resources and tactics are implemented to secure entourage/property
• Ensure due process in the sourcing of armed policemen from the SGF commands.
• Maintain Networks for the Halogen Group pan Nigeria by providing a framework on relationship 
• Management with the NPF, other GSF and Emergency Management Agencies
• Provide needed support for us in any investigation where GSF are involved to enable soft landing for our men albeit not necessarily compromising the professional discharge of the duties of the GSF. 
• Support the Group in cases involving GSA in providing the most cost-effective resolutions anywhere within the country.
• Maintain productive liaison with all security agencies.
• Use available contacts and influence to have an expounded access to resources that could support our strategic response activities. 
• Manage relationship with NPF and other GSF with respect to cost optimization and service quality as well as resolve any situation and or conflict between GSA and any of our staff or clients as may be needed.

Qualifications

•  First Degree in any discipline from a reputable tertiary institution and/or military academy

Experience

•  Preferably retired military personnel (Ex-Nigerian Armed Forces)
•  Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in the Nigerian Armed forces (Army, Airforce or Navy).
