We are looking for an energetic and experienced individual as a Janitor who will be responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks and keeping the workplace clean, organized and disinfected. Such individual will manage cleaning supplies and report any major maintenance needs within the Organization.
Job Responsibilities
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
Clean and maintain restrooms
Wash and clean windows and window blinds
Maintain outdoor surroundings
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Notify Supervisor of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Perform minor repairs on machinery, equipment and tools
Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies, restock them as needed, and order new ones when they run low
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
Follow all health and safety regulations
Job Requirements & Qualifications
You have at least zero to two years of work experience
Must have a minimum of Diploma
Proven working experience as a Janitor
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Good communication and hygiene
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
