    Office Administrator / Receptionist

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and personable Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our team at London Academy Business School.
    • As the first point of contact for students, visitors, and stakeholders, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.
    • This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, strong administrative capabilities, and a passion for supporting education.

    Key Responsibilities
    Reception & Front Office Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, prospective students, parents, and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome
    • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries to appropriate departments
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area at all times
    • Handle visitor registration and manage meeting room bookings

    Administrative Support:

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to academic and administrative staff
    • Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite
    • Maintain accurate filing systems (both physical and digital) and ensure proper record keeping
    • Assist with student enrollment processes, documentation, and record management
    • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages

    Student Services:

    • Respond to student inquiries regarding programmes, admissions, and general information
    • Support prospective students with application queries and campus visit arrangements
    • Coordinate student appointments with academic advisors and administrative staff
    • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive student information

    Office Operations:

    • Monitor and order office supplies and equipment as needed
    • Support event coordination including open days, orientations, and academic ceremonies
    • Liaise with external vendors and service providers
    • Assist with general administrative projects as assigned by management

    Requirements
    Education & Experience:

    • Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Office Management, or any relevant field
    • 2–4 years of proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or Office Administrator, preferably in an educational or professional services environment

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent fluency in spoken and written English
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a professional demeanor
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize competing demands
    • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity
    • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
