Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Consultant at Reddington Hospital

Job Summary:

• Reddington Hospital Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality specialist care in obstetrics and gynaecology, demonstrating clinical excellence, leadership, and a commitment to patient-centered service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert medical care in the management of obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
• Oversee antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for patients.
• Perform surgical and non-surgical gynaecological procedures as required.
• Collaborate with other consultants, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical meetings, training, and case reviews.
• Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards of medical practice.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized institution.
• Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (WACS) or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Minimum of 4 years post-fellowship experience as a Consultant O&G Specialist.
• Demonstrated expertise in both obstetric and gynaecological procedures.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
