NYSC Service Advisor at Mechanic on the Go

Mechanic On The Go, a reputable automotive service provider located in Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable NYSC Corper to join our team as an Automotive Service Advisor. This role involves supervising repairs in the workshop, providing exceptional customer service, performing basic inspections and diagnostics, and ensuring a seamless experience for our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising Repairs: Oversee repair and maintenance activities in the workshop to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
• Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, both in-person and over the phone. Provide assistance, guidance, and updates on the status of repairs, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
• Pickup and Drop-off Services: Drive to customers' locations to pick up and drop off their vehicles for repair, providing convenient and reliable service.
• Repair Explanation: Clearly explain repair recommendations and procedures to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
• Inspection and Diagnostics: Perform basic inspections and diagnostic operations on customers' vehicles in both workshop and house settings, identifying issues and recommending appropriate solutions.

Qualifications:

• Auto Repair Knowledge: Prior knowledge and experience in auto repair and maintenance are essential for this role. Understanding of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures is required.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with customers and provide excellent service.
• Location Requirement: Reside in or close to Ikeja, Lagos, to facilitate prompt availability for on-site services and efficient commuting.
• Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate the ability to drive responsibly and safely.
