Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy NYSC Corps Member to join our IT team as an IT Support Officer. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the company’s IT systems, ensuring smooth network operations, and providing technical support to staff. This role provides hands-on exposure to IT infrastructure management and support in a professional corporate environment.

Job Details

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor network performance and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist with system backups, updates, and documentation of IT processes.
• Support IT team in implementing security protocols and access controls.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Assist with training staff on IT tools and systems as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals and IT support principles.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, or Mac operating systems.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
