Summary

Are you passionate about social media, digital content, and business events? We are looking for a Content Creator/social media intern to manage our social media presence, plan content calendars, create, edit videos, and liaise with speakers/partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage DBNC’s social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, YouTube, X).
• Plan, schedule, and maintain the content calendar.
• Write captions, session summaries, and speaker highlights.
• Edit and produce short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, highlights).
• Communicate with speakers and partners to coordinate content.
• Collaborate with the in-house graphics designer for visual content.
• Assist with project coordination for conferences, sessions, and events.
• Track content performance and suggest ways to improve engagement.

Requirements

• Must be a serving NYSC member in Lagos.
• Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, or similar tools).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Familiarity with social media trends and engagement strategies.
• Professional in dealing with speakers, partners, and the team.

Willing to learn

-Proximity to Lekki phase 1 is a plus
