Nurse / Pharmacy Assistant at Namz Pharmacy & Stores

Responsibilties

• Dispensing medications: Assisting pharmacists in measuring, counting, and packaging medications, as well as preparing labels for medication containers.
• Inventory management: Monitoring stock levels, checking expiration dates, and assisting with ordering and receiving new supplies.
• Customer service: Answering customer inquiries, providing information about medications (including over-the-counter products), and assisting with purchases.
• Prescription processing: Receiving and processing prescription orders from patients or healthcare professionals.
• Record keeping: Maintaining patient records and updating relevant information.
• Cash handling: Processing payments and operating the cash register.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace: Ensuring the pharmacy is tidy and well-stocked.
• Adhering to pharmacy regulations and ethical standards: Following all relevant rules and guidelines, including those related to patient confidentiality.
• Assisting with medication compounding (if applicable): Helping pharmacists prepare customized medications.
• Operating and maintaining pharmacy equipment: Using and caring for various pharmacy tools and technology.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an NCE / OND / HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 1 - 7 years work experience.
