Night Manager at YellowDoor Hotels

Work Arrangement: On-site, night shift 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Compensation: ₦250,000 – ₦300,000

Job Overview

YellowDoor Hotels is a boutique property in Abuja built for business executives and discerning leisure travelers. The Night Manager owns everything that happens between 6 PM and 8 AM - guest experience, staff conduct, financial close, and security across both the hotel and The Living Room restaurant. Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel and restaurant operations from 6 PM to 8 AM nightly
• Supervise 3–10 night-shift staff across front office, restaurant, and security
• Resolve guest complaints on the spot and escalate only genuine emergencies
• Complete accurate end-of-shift financial reconciliation with zero cash discrepancies
• Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, back-of-house, and surrounding premises
• Prepare a detailed night report and hand over cleanly to the morning management team

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience
• Night audit or overnight shift management
• Hotel front office or operations management
• Cash management and financial reconciliation
• Restaurant or F&B operations supervision
• Staff supervision and accountability
• Night audit and end-of-shift financial reporting
• Front office and property management system (PMS) operations
• F&B shift oversight and till reconciliation
• Staff performance monitoring and compliance enforcement
• Guest complaint resolution and de-escalation
• Incident logging and GM escalation judgment
• Cash handling and void/comp documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency or incident response experience
• PMS system proficiency
