    Nigerian Content (NCD) Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Preparation and submission of Nigerian Content Monthly Reports as specifically detailed in the Nigerian Content Plan by means of Nigeria Content Spend Monitoring Sheets for the project.
    • Implementation of Company's Nigerian Content plan and periodic reporting on performance
    • Development of a Training Plan and providing sustainable training & development for Nigerian Engineers, Supervisors, Skilled and Semi-Skilled workers.
    • Coordination and Presentation of a Biannual Nigerian Content Performance and Monitoring Reports.
    • Monitoring of suppliers to ensure compliance with NCD Management Standards
    • The Nigerian Content Officer would be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that applicable regulations are met.
    • Prepare, present and issue Nigerian Content Reports to the NCD Manager.
    • Assist the NDC Manager to implement the performance of Nigeria content in accordance with approved procedures
    • Provide day-to-day support in collation and interpretation of local data related to the industry that would be required to implement any strategies and plans as deemed fit
    • Liaise with all stakeholders to prepare and monitor the company’s Nigerian Content Plans in compliance with local laws for all the proposals submitted
    • Assist the Business Development Department in maintaining competitive advantage in adding value to the Nigerian content policy

    Qualification and Skills Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Humanities or other related fields
    • 3 - 4 years’ Nigerian Content experience in the oil and gas sector.
    • A sound knowledge of Nigerian content law.
    • Excellent Report Writing.
    • Planning and Organization.
    • High Level of integrity.
    • Project Management skills
    • Excellent Working knowledge of MS Office.
