Supervising the activities of the Turnaround coordinators and the Cargo Assistants to ensure decisions taken are in conformity with company procedures as defined in the Ground Services Manual and regulatory directives
Ensuring availability of all services and on-time positioning of 3rd party in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
Managing the generation of ASR/GHRs, carrying out root cause analysis and ensuring closure of findings within the defined timelines
Reviewing and reporting station GHA adherence to policies and procedure
Closely liaising with Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOCC) to ensure operational and technical issues are communicated and reconciled
Ensuring station data and statistics are up to date
Must have skills
Mastery of Ramp and loading procedures Good knowledge of cargo handling and relevant Airport procedure
Knowledge of aviation security policy
Good analytical skills Attention to details Inter-personal relationship skills
Good to have skills
Ability to maintain professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in any field
At least 2 years proven experience in Ramp Operations
Valid driving license
Relevant Ramp Operations certification would be an added advantage
