National Single Window (NSW) Training Officer – Nigeria at Psyntech Limited

The Training Officer (Lead Trainer) will spearhead the development and delivery of training programs for various stakeholders on the National Single Window (NSW) platform. This individual will ensure knowledge transfer, system adoption, and capacity building across MDAs, customs, private sector operators, and trade facilitation stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training programs on National Single Window operations to Government Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), and private sector stakeholders (e.g., clearing agents, freight forwarders, Shipping Lines, Airlines etc).
• Create training manuals, guides, multimedia resources, and virtual learning materials.
• Facilitate workshops, seminars, and webinars, ensuring engagement and understanding.
• Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for NSW platforms, preparing test cases and scripts
• Assess training needs and customise content to address specific gaps.
• Evaluate training outcomes and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with technical and operational teams to understand system updates and incorporate them into training modules.
• Support knowledge transfer activities to ensure continuous system usage and optimisation.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Logistics, Customs Management, or related field.
• Certifications in Training and Development, Project Management, or Trade Facilitation are an advantage.
• Familiarity with trade processes and government systems is a plus

Professional Experience:

• At least 6 years of experience in training delivery and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or related quality assurance roles.
• Practical experience in Customs, Trade Facilitation, Logistics, or the Government sector will be an advantage
• Experience working with MDAs, private sector stakeholders, and multi-agency environments.
• Strong project and change management skills
• Strong training and facilitation skills
• Experience in the implementation and training of users of ERP or similar solutions

Technical & Training Skills:

• Strong understanding of customs and cross-border trade procedures.
• Proficiency in digital training delivery tools (LMS, webinars, virtual classrooms).
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to develop clear training materials from technical content.
• Competent in data reporting and training effectiveness evaluation.

• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability across different stakeholder groups.
