Job Duties
Lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams, setting clear goals and strategies to meet and exceed goals, drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Manage, motivate, and develop the sales and marketing teams, ensuring collaboration and continuous improvement.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to enhance the company's market position.
Conduct in-depth market analysis, monitor industry trends, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Conduct regular visits to sales representatives territories to support and guide their activities.
Implement strategies to recover debts, monitor outstanding accounts, and reduce overall debt levels.
Oversee and optimize the daily sales activities, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective strategies to drive sales growth.
Contribute to the development of sales policies, procedures, and guidelines that support a proactive and results-driven sales approach.
Attend Sales Strategy & Assessment meetings to provide valuable insights and contribute to the development of sales plans and strategies
Efficiently handle and supervise all incoming sales inquiries, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of our products/services and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Proactively identify and address any challenges or concerns related to the sales process, collaborating with internal teams to implement effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is added advantage.
5-7 years of proven success in managing sales and marketing teams within the publishing industry.
Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of marketing trends, digital platforms, and sales strategies in the publishing sector.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute effective plans.
6. Must possess elevated emotional intelligence for effective interpersonal communication and conflict resolution.
