Job Description

• To create a safe and stimulating environment for children.
• Plans meals, prepares food and feeds children.
• You are expected to engage children in age-appropriate activities and encourage intellectual development.
• Teaches and supervises daily living skills.
• Monitors behaviour for irregularities in health and well-being as well as physical, emotional, and mental development.
• Meetwith parents regularly to assess child behaviour and to plan activities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a childcare setting.
• A minimum of an OND academic qualification or equivalent.
• Motivated and professional in conduct.
• A passion for working with children.
• Understands child psychology and stages of development.
• Positive discipline skills for correcting undesired behaviour.
