    Monitoring & Evaluation Manager (ANRiN)

    Job Summary

    • The M&E Manager’s overarching responsibility will be to provide support for the implementation of the organization’s projects.
    • H/She will also provide technical leadership on data-driven decision making, developing M&E frameworks and tools, and collaborating, learning, and adapting methodologies, towards achieving the project’s goal.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide oversight for Strategic Information (SI) processes across the project.
    • Provide technical support on SI and evidence-based recommendations to the project team and stakeholders.
    • Lead research, evaluation, and data management processes on the project.
    • Support partners by providing advice on technical aspects during the project implementation.
    • Develop and revise M&E processes and related tools that support quality assurance for key program areas.
    • Conduct routine data management including data collection, collation, analysis, and reporting.
    • Conduct data quality assurance and control and other data management processes.
    • Design of M&E framework and tools for the project.
    • Take on an active role in the monitoring and evaluation of clusters and mobile nutrition teams (MNTs) or recruited community volunteers (CVs), provide progress updates of various project components to the team, regularly update relevant monitoring indicators of the projects based on the project data and study outcomes, prepare periodic reports, use data generated by the projects to strengthen the data collection methods.
    • Provide support to the STL and other team members on project reviews with state actors.
    • Use relevant analyzed project data to guide implementation reviews on the project, subject to the approval of the STL and Country Office technical team.
    • Provide on-the-job capacity building, coaching, and facilitation of training for MNTs/CVs.
    • Carry out any other tasks assigned in pursuance of the project’s objectives or as assigned by the supervisors.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

    • A Master's Degree in public health, Biostatistics, Biological Sciences, Sociology, or a related field. Training in M&E will be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience with complex donor-funded health projects, including 5 years in an M&E role.
    • Strong knowledge of, and experience with various reporting requirements, and data platforms (DHIS2).
    • Experience with evaluation and research design, data collection and analysis, indicator construction, and geospatial applications.
    • Excellent grant proposal and technical writing skills.
    • Proven experience in stakeholder management including the ability to engage in technical and policy discussions with representatives of government and other development partners.
    • Demonstrable strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Proven ability to provide on-the-job capacity building, coaching, and facilitation of training.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and one or more of the following statistical software: SPSS, Stata, SAS and/or R.
