Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC)

Job Summary

The CSR Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will play a support role implementing, and overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of Sunbeth’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects. The officer will ensure that projects are effectively planned, tracked, and evaluated to maximize impact and align with the organization’s social responsibility objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for social impact, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Job Details

Project Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Develop and implement M&E frameworks, methodologies, and tools for CSR projects.
• Track project activities, outputs, and outcomes to ensure alignment with stated goals and objectives.

Data Collection and Analysis: 

• Collect qualitative and quantitative data from project sites and beneficiaries. Analyze data to measure impact and provide actionable insights for project improvement.

 CSR Project Management:

• Assist in planning and implementing CSR initiatives to meet organizational and community needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

 Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare detailed project reports, including impact assessments, success stories, and lessons learned. 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all CSR activities and outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, NGOs, government agencies, and other partners.
• Represent Sunbeth at CSR events, workshops, and community meetings.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement in CSR project design and implementation.
• Provide recommendations based on M&E findings to enhance project effectiveness and sustainability.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, Project Management, or a related field. 
• A master’s degree is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, CSR, or project management roles.
• Experience with data collection tools, analysis, and reporting in social impact contexts.

Skills:

• Proficiency in M&E tools and frameworks, such as Logical Framework Approach (LogFrame).
• Strong data analysis skills, including familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata).
• Excellent communication, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
