    Modern Trade / Retail Sales Representative

    Job Description

    • Join us as a Modern Trade Sales Representative and be a driving force in our success within the organized retail sector.
    • Your role will be pivotal in navigating the demands of modern trade, characterized by large-format stores and supermarkets.
    • If you possess a strategic mindset, a proven sales track record, and a knack for relationship-building, we want to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategic Account Management:

    • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key accounts in the modern trade segment.
    • Collaborate with retail partners to understand their business needs for mutual success.

    Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
    • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the modern trade channel.

    Product Knowledge and Training:

    • Stay updated on product features, benefits, and industry trends.
    • Conduct focused product training sessions for retail staff to enhance their knowledge.

    Market Analysis and Insights:

    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
    • Provide valuable insights to the management team for informed decision-making.

    Achieving Sales Targets:

    • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets within the modern trade channel.
    • Implement strategies to enhance product visibility, market share, and revenue.

    Promotions and Visibility:

    • Plan and execute impactful promotional activities and merchandising initiatives.
    • Ensure optimal product placement and visibility in-store to bolster brand presence.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business, Marketing, (Course of study does not matter for experienced hands).
    • Proven experience as a Sales Representative within the modern trade channel.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
    • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
