Merchant Officer

About the role
- The Merchant Officer will drive field acquisition and activation of merchants within an assigned territory, with a focus on supermarkets and other qualifying ethical businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and onboard qualified merchants within the assigned territory
- Complete KYC and all required documentation
- Deploy and activate point-of-sale terminals
- Drive merchant transaction usage and monitor merchant activity
- Support merchant account opening
Requirements
- HND or B.Sc.
- Willingness to work in the field daily and meet targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in sales, merchant acquisition, POS/fintech, or banking is an advantage.
