MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer
As an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of MEP systems across our projects. Your role will be critical in ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects meet the required standards and work seamlessly with the overall project plans.
Responsibilities
Design and develop MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, water supply, and drainage.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure MEP systems are well-integrated.
Conduct site inspections to monitor the installation of MEP systems and ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical issues related to MEP systems.
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure MEP designs adhere to safety, environmental, and building regulations.
Review all documents relating to MEP works by the contractor.
Ensure appropriate documentation and information is provided to obtain the LEED standard required on a project.
Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team.
Perform other task as required and directed by your line supervisor(s).
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in MEP engineering.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
