Medical Laboratory Scientist at Sonia Medical Laboratory and Diagnostics

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, analyzing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control, and providing accurate and timely results to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The successful applicant must demonstrate professionalism, strong analytical skills, and adherence to laboratory safety and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, serology, and other laboratory units.
• Analyze and interpret test results accurately.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper quality control procedures.
• Follow infection prevention and laboratory safety guidelines.
• Document and report laboratory findings promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

Must be a Resident if Gwarinpa or its environs

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS)
• Valid practicing license.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous laboratory experience is an added advantage.
