    Medical Doctor

    • We are seeking a high-performing Medical Doctor with strong public health expertise to strengthen our technical leadership and implementation across programmes, partnerships, and patient support—while also providing technical assistance to the CEO.

    Key Responsibilities

    Clinical & Patient Support

    • Provide clinical oversight and support for MCF’s patient-centred programmes, including case reviews, treatment navigation, and referrals.
    • Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to support care planning and follow-up.
    • Support patient and caregiver counselling with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
    • Ensure quality, documentation, and compliance with relevant clinical standards and regulations.

    Public Health & Programme Leadership

    • Provide technical guidance for public health programmes (screening, prevention, awareness, community outreach, and patient access initiatives).
    • Support evidence-based programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL).
    • Lead/participate in case discussions, technical reviews, trainings, and clinical governance activities as required.
    • Contribute to partnerships, reporting, concept notes/proposals, and technical documentation.

    Technical Assistant to the CEO

    • Provide technical input for the CEO’s engagements: briefs, memos, presentations, talking points, and meeting preparation.
    • Track strategic priorities, coordinate technical follow-ups, and support stakeholder engagements with partners and institutions.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • MBBS (or equivalent) with a valid license to practice.
    • Second degree in Public Health (e.g., MPH, MSc Public Health) is required.
    • Additional relevant certifications (e.g., epidemiology, health management, project management, M&E, quality improvement) are an advantage.
    • Demonstrable experience in public health programming (planning, implementation, M&E, reporting).
    • Strong understanding of oncology/cancer care (experience in cancer programmes or clinical oncology exposure is highly desirable).
    • Excellent communication skills—able to engage patients, families, clinicians, partners, and leadership.
    • Strong writing and analysis skills (reports, briefs, proposals, presentations).
    • High integrity, empathy, attention to detail, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
