Mechanical Technician – Engineering Department at Ascentech Services Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, and HVAC systems.
• Assist in equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning in compliance with engineering standards and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults, replace defective parts, and ensure minimal downtime of production equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, job cards, and service reports for all mechanical activities.
• Support production teams during changeovers and ensure optimal machine performance.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential mechanical issues and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams for coordinated maintenance efforts.
• Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), safety, and environmental compliance requirements at all times.
• Participate in maintenance planning, spare parts management, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Report promptly to the Maintenance Engineer or Supervisor on any critical issues affecting operations.
