    Mechanical/Industrial Maintenance Engineer

    The role is responsible for ensuring the efficient design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of automobile and industrial mechanical systems, with specialized expertise in CNG conversion technologies. The role focuses on supporting sustainable energy initiatives, driving innovation, and ensuring operational reliability across mechanical and industrial processes. It also aims to enhance technical operations, promote business growth, and maintain strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the design, integration, and optimization of mechanical, automotive, and industrial systems.
    • Provide technical direction on CNG conversion projects and automotive energy systems.
    • Ensure adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards in all mechanical operations.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and recommend process improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Support management and R&D teams in implementing technology upgrades and process innovation.
    • Supervise and execute CNG conversion projects for vehicles and industrial applications.
    • Perform diagnostics, calibration, and maintenance of CNG kits, regulators, fuel injectors, and pressure systems.
    • Collaborate with OEMs and regulatory bodies to ensure certification and compliance of conversion projects.
    • Train and supervise technical teams on installation, maintenance, and safety procedures for CNG systems.
    • Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance plans to enhance equipment uptime.
    • Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure prompt resolution of technical faults.
    • Monitor industrial system performance and recommend mechanical redesigns where necessary.
    • Ensure all workshop and field activities meet ISO and HSE compliance standards.
    • Support innovation in fuel conversion, energy efficiency, and industrial system automation.
    • Analyse technological trends and recommend process modernization and system upgrades.
    • Lead or participate in pilot projects for CNG and renewable fuel applications.
    • Mentor, coach, and develop technicians and maintenance personnel on CNG systems and mechanical processes.
    • Facilitate technical training on diagnostics, maintenance, and safety best practices.
    • Provide engineering insights to management during strategic planning and project review meetings.

    QUALIFICATION          

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Professional membership or certification (e.g., COREN, NSE, SAE) preferred.

    Experience 

    • 5–7 years of experience in mechanical systems, industrial maintenance, and CNG conversion.
    • Experience with fuel systems, engine diagnostics, and process automation.
    • Proficiency in maintenance management tools and technical reporting.
