Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the plastic chair manufacturing industry, particularly in operating and maintaining Haitian Machines.
• This multifaceted role involves overseeing both mechanical and electrical aspects to ensure the efficient and high-quality production of plastic chairs.
• The responsibilities include leading maintenance efforts, implementing process improvements, optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining meticulous documentation in both mechanical and electrical engineering aspects.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair efforts on Haitian Machines to ensure peak performance.
• Innovate and implement maintenance strategies for both mechanical and electrical components, optimizing machine uptime.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization in all production phases.
• Implement effective line maintenance strategy (AM & PM), fostering continuous team capability growth, enhanced line asset reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies into engineering projects and maintenance activities.
• Lead or participate in Six Sigma projects aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, improving energy efficiency, or optimizing maintenance procedures.
• Train and mentor engineering and maintenance teams in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engineering and maintenance processes, tracking the success of Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
• Drive initiatives to enhance overall production efficiency, aligning mechanical and electrical aspects seamlessly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify automation possibilities, streamline workflows, and reduce manual interventions.
• Implement solutions that maximize machine utilization and chair production output while maintaining product quality, emphasizing a proactive leadership approach in both mechanical and electrical aspects.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (M.Sc. is an added advantage).
• 2-5 years of experience in the plastic chair manufacturing industry, with expertise in operating and maintaining Haitian Machines.
• Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical design and analysis.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Commitment to optimizing production processes and maintaining high standards.
• Experience in Production of Plastic injection mould machines and Maintenance of HAITAN machines.
• Experience in maintaining Recycling machines like:
  • Washing line – Grace Machine
  • Extrusion line – Grace and Technova Machine
  • Fitter line – Grace Machine
  • Grinding Machine.
