Job Description

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics in line with the approved curriculum.
• Teach theoretical concepts and practical experiments (Physics) while ensuring safety in the laboratory.
• Develop lesson notes, schemes of work, and teaching materials tailored to students’ needs.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, etc.).
• Evaluate, record, and report on students’ academic progress.
• Encourage logical reasoning, creativity, and application of scientific/mathematical concepts.
• Provide extra academic support for struggling students through tutorials or coaching sessions.
• Incorporate ICT and modern teaching techniques to enhance learning outcomes.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment that motivates learners.
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, quizzes, and competitions.
