Marketing Manager at Sunrose Consulting

Our client is a conglomerate that participates in many areas of the economy; technical products and leasing services, almarine, properties, shipping services, construction, and exports and processing. With several decades of operations in the Nigerian economy, the company is positioned as the leader in all its areas of operations. As part of expansion, the company is now seeking to recruit a results-driven Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for evaluating and optimising marketing strategies, analysing market trends and preparing forecasts. You will generate new business leads and increase brand awareness and market share.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
• Oversee the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and festivals.
• Negotiate and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
• Manage the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures
• Keep informed of marketing strategies and trends.
• Track effectiveness of marketing campaigns
• Plan digital marketing campaigns
• Maintain and manage the company’s social media presence across all digital channels
• Plan and create content
• Graphics Design
• Creative Writing
• Monitor and evaluate online media campaigns

Job Requirements

• University Degree in a numerical discipline with relevant experience.
• Minimum  of 10 years’ relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive and self- motivated.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Attention to details.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
• Microsoft business packages: Excel, Word, Power point.
• Good conflict management skills.
• Experience in the design of market segmentation and sales coverage.
• Proficient in the application of market research.
• Excellent influencing.
• Strong team player and ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organisation.
