    Marketer

    Job Summary

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote Media Trust products and services, ultimately driving sales and brand awareness. 
    • This involves a variety of activities, including market research, sourcing adverts, and data analysis. 

    Responsibilities

    • Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies for Media Trust
    • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, and determine our target audiences' needs
    • Communicate with target audiences to build and develop customer relationships
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business goals.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for partnership and collaboration with other organizations.
    • Source for advertising opportunities for Media Trust
    • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
    • Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication
    • Developing creative briefs and ensure that marketing output is characterised by the highest creative standards
    • Develop strategically placed advertisements to reach niche demographic
    • Centralise and spread marketing best practices
    • Collaborate with editorial, sales and operations to align marketing activities with business strategies and priorities.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and advertising.
    • Represent the organization in marketing-related activities, events, and industry associations to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

    Requirements and Skills

    • Minimum of B.Sc Degree / HND in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 10 years cognate experience
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities 
    • Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role 
    • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles 
    • Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Creativity and commercial awareness
    • A team player with a customer-oriented approach.
