• At Dangote Cement Plc, we are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• mAs the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of our products and processes, as well as implementing quality control measures.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate all aspects of production and operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and manage a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of quality goals.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess product quality and adherence to quality control standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate best practices into quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and present reports on quality control performance to management and stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain quality-related documentation and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to achieving excellence in quality control.
• Experience with relevant quality management systems and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) are a plus.
