Maintenance Officer at Eric Kayser

Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Officer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and/or working knowledge in HVAC systems and electrical maintenance, supporting the operational needs of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair cold rooms, industrial fridges, freezers, ovens, fryers, charcoal grills, cooking burners, and air conditioning units.
• Troubleshoot and service HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform electrical tasks including work on control panels, main electrical boards, motor connections, and water pump wiring.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with the facilities team to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience or solid working knowledge in HVAC systems and/or electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role if not yet fully experienced in all areas.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential).
