Machine Operator/Technician at Zenith Precision Limited

Job Summary

• We’re seeking a Technician/Machine Operator (Coding Machine) to join our Technical/Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining coding machines to ensure zero-defect printing, minimal downtime, accurate documentation, and safe handling of consumables and machine components.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate coding machines with precision, ensuring compliance with product marking specifications.
• Conduct pre-shift checks and ensure machine readiness for production.
• Monitor and maintain print quality, escalating issues promptly.
• Minimize unplanned downtime (target: <10 minutes per 12-hour shift).
• Track and manage ink/solvent usage in line with standards.
• Handle print heads and sensitive components with care.
• Complete shift logs, reports, and checklists accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following 5S standards.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Record and report deviations, malfunctions, or near-misses.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving quality, reducing costs, and enhancing performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum: SSCE with relevant factory/production experience.
• Preferred: NABTEB Trade Test or OND in an Engineering-related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and under production pressure.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
