Longevity Diagnostics Specialist / Health Optimisation Physician at Sigma Consult

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Longevity Diagnostics Specialist / Health Optimisation Physician to lead the delivery of advanced preventive healthcare, executive wellness assessments, and personalized health optimisation programmes within a premium hospitality environment.
• The successful candidate will combine strong clinical expertise with exceptional communication skills to deliver evidence-based diagnostics, interpret health data, and develop individualized wellness strategies that improve long-term health outcomes, enhance performance, and promote healthy ageing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, executive medical evaluations, and preventive health screenings for members and clients.
• Perform, interpret, and communicate results from advanced diagnostic assessments, including body composition analysis (InBody), VO Max testing, metabolic assessments, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry, spirometry, ECGs, and other relevant clinical investigations.
• Develop personalized health optimisation, preventive medicine, and lifestyle intervention programmes tailored to individual health goals and clinical findings.
• Provide detailed health consultations, translating complex medical information into practical and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, fitness professionals, nutritionists, wellness coaches, and other healthcare professionals to implement multidisciplinary wellness programmes.
• Monitor client progress through periodic reviews, follow-up consultations, and repeat diagnostic assessments.
• Identify health risks early and recommend appropriate interventions or referrals to specialist consultants where clinically indicated.
• Ensure all clinical services comply with professional standards, ethical guidelines, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records, clinical documentation, informed consent, and confidential patient information in accordance with MDCN and data protection regulations.
• Oversee the calibration, maintenance, quality assurance, and safe operation of diagnostic equipment.
• Develop and continuously improve clinical protocols, wellness programmes, and executive health packages.
• Deliver health education sessions, wellness seminars, and preventive health workshops for members and corporate clients.
• Support business development initiatives by contributing to the design and promotion of premium wellness and diagnostic services.
• Participate in continuous professional development and remain current with emerging evidence in preventive, functional, and longevity medicine.
• Prepare periodic clinical, operational, and performance reports for management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Minimum of 4–8 years' post-qualification clinical experience.
• Postgraduate training or demonstrable expertise in Preventive Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, Sports Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Functional Medicine, Occupational Health, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience conducting executive health assessments and preventive health programmes.
• Strong knowledge of chronic disease prevention, health optimisation, nutrition, exercise physiology, and wellness management.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic investigations and communicate findings clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent clinical reasoning, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), clinical software, Microsoft Office Suite, and diagnostic reporting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior executives, diplomats, and high-net-worth individuals professionally.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Must reside in Abuja or be willing to relocate.
