Logistics Manager (Site) at Speedaf Nigeria Limited

LOCATION :

JOB SUMMARY:

The Site Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of logistics operations at a designated site. This includes overseeing receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution activities. The Site Manager ensures operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team and maintain high levels of productivity and service quality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifying areas of opportunities to the Senior Regional Manager in opening new business sites
• Perform feasibility studies on areas of new opportunities
• Identify and collect feedback from senior site supervisors and site supervisors on problem-solving processes
• Collate performance reports from senior site supervisors
• Relate with the regional manager on an advisory basis
• Creating and maintaining performance benchmark on a daily basis from daily activities
• Measure site performance level as collated from KPI and advise region leaders accordingly
• Candidate must be willing to travel within the Region when necessary

Qualification:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management system
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
