Logistics Coordinator at The Milk Booster

Job Summary:

• Milkbooster is seeking a reliable and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage delivery operations and ensure efficient, timely distribution of products. The ideal candidate will coordinate logistics activities, supervise delivery processes, and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review customer orders and plan delivery activities accordingly.
• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and track shipments.
• Analyze and resolve delivery issues promptly.
• Oversee daily activities of delivery personnel and provide direction where needed.
• Allocate resources and assign workloads based on delivery requirements.
• Set delivery priorities and adjust schedules to meet timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and logistics operations.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of products.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery status when necessary.
• Negotiate delivery rates when required.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
• Support decision-making to meet customer expectations and business goals.
• Assist in planning logistics budgets and operational needs.
• Prepare and maintain delivery-related documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND qualification.
• Experience in logistics or a similar role is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Lagos routes is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
