Logistic Account Officer at JMG

Brief Description

The Logistics Account Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods and materials, in-charge of receiving all jobs orders with trip allowance request and checking to confirm request comply with criteria of job. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with clients, and internal departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. The Logistics Account Officer plays a key role in optimizing inventory flow, managing delivery schedules, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Contact customers prior to dispatch to notify them of upcoming deliveries and confirm receipt details.
• Contact the customer to confirm delivery once the items have arrived.
• Ensure 100% billing accuracy monthly by verifying all service charges before invoice issuance.
• Raise and process trip expenses in accordance with approved company criteria and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate financial records with a target of zero reporting errors and regularly review financial data for consistency and compliance.
• Updating JMG/JAMARA sales team about delivery status on daily basis.
• Monitor on-time payment rates, ensuring most payments are received before the due date.
• Generate and analyze logistics and financial performance reports, offering actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Track and minimize client billing errors by implementing quality checks and verifying data prior to invoice submission.
• Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies aligned with company goals.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. With 2-5 years of relevant working experience.
