Loan Recovery Agent at Source Microfinance Bank

Job Description

• Collaborate with Revenue Assurance Officer to Identify technical challenges with Remita  and deductions setup responsible for loan default 
• Collaborate with Revenue Assurance Officer to know customers account status with Remita  
• To carry out action plans from monthly credit review of delinquent loans. 
• Recovery of delinquent loans after credit review. 
• Daily call to delinquent customers through phone calls, emails, or even in-person visits  to discuss repayment options. 
• Negotiate payment plans with debtors, considering their financial situation and aiming  to recover the maximum amount possible. 
• To follow with debtors who have gone missing or not reachable. 
• When necessary, liaise with legal unit to initiate legal proceedings to recover the debt. 
• Report recovery progress and rates weekly and monthly to the Risk department. 
• Other duties assigned by the Head of Risk. 

Requirements

• Familiarity with Tele-recovery approach to loan recovery is an important requirement.  
• Experience working in Microfinance Bank and understanding of CBN stipulated portfolio  at risk ratio is a must have 
• Previous and proven usage of core banking solutions is essential for the role holder  
• The role require good knowledge of excel, PowerPoint, report writing, power BI and  other numeric tools 
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills is required 
• Candidate must possess the ability to work independently and part of a team, should be  a self-starter 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Possession of minimum of 2 years post-secondary education
