    Litigation Secretary

    Key Responsibilities

    • We seek a Litigation Secretary who can deliver or is willing to learn how to deliver on the following:
    • Preparing court statements and forms.
    • Dictating Lawyers’ audio files and written notes.
    • Managing records, projects and calendars to make sure everything functions smoothly.
    • Transcribing and proofreading legal documents.
    • Indexing and updating pleadings and discovery binders.
    • Collecting and delivering documents.
    • Managing diaries and making travel arrangements for Lawyers.
    • Supporting legal research and communicating with vendors, experts, Lawyers, opposing counsel and other staff skills.
    • General administrative duties such as typing, photocoping, filing of court process, preparing minutes, and office memos.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned.

    Education and Work Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business administration, Information and Library Science, Law or preferred field.
    • Should possess a minimum of 2 years post-call experience (preferably litigation & company secretariat experience)
    • Hand-on experience with Ms Office packages.

    Requirements:

    • Strong computer literacy
    • Attention to details and procedures
    • Ability to liaise and communicate with clients directly
    • Familiar with administrative software
    • Strong reporting skills.
    • Ability to work with a team of lawyers
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent customer service with a client focus
    • Flexible to work weekends and overtime where required.
